Vitamin B7 (biotin), also known as Vitamin H, is essential for the metabolisation of fats, carbohydrates and protein and converting these nutrients into energy.  A deficiency in Vitamin B7 may cause hair loss and skin and nail problems, therefore, supplementing with biotin can improve hair, skin and nail health.  A 3 month course is recommended for hair loss/thinning hair (weekly injections).
