Salon and Team

Our Skin&Spirit Hair & Beauty salon is now located in the downstairs part of 43 Mill Street, Clowne, Chesterfield, S43 4JN, which is in the Clowne village on the one way street opposite the Morrisons Local/Post Office.  Plenty of local parking is available within the surrounding shopping areas, all within a one minute walking distance.

Our salon  moved into the downstairs part of Skin&Spirit Aesthetics, Skincare and Wellness Clinic in November 2025.

Clowne is a bustling village which resides within the Bolsover district of Derbyshire, between Chesterfield and Worksop.

There are many shops, facilities and places to eat and drink in Clowne, making it an ideal local place to visit, where parking is both free and ample.  Due to ongoing investment in nearby residential housing, the commercial side of Clowne is constantly developing, so new and exciting places are emerging all the time.

Shops and places of interest include our sister salon - Skin&Spirit Aesthetics, Skincare and Wellness Clinic, the gorgeous No4 licensed coffee shop and tearoom, Old School Taphouse, Tesco, Wilko, Aldi, Lloyds Pharmacy, Domino's Pizza, Go Active @ The Arc (swimming and fitness centre) and many other local stores and businesses, gift and charity shops, pubs, cafes and hair, beauty and nail salons.

Our salon has capacity for 6 hair chairs and we also have significant beauty/treatment room capacity upstairs with 2 treatment couches, 2 pedi spa chairs, 2 nail stations, 1 brow station and one clinic room, enabling several people to receive treatments at the same time.  

There is also a welcoming reception area with retail offering gorgeous products and gifts, seating/waiting area and 1 cloakroom (upstairs).  

Our beauty, skin, aesthetics, medical, skincare, nails and holistic and massage based treatments are taken upstairs, so you must be able to climb the stairs to receive most of these services. However, there are some treatments that can be taken in a hair chair downstairs while having your hair done, such as brows or pedi or nails, just ask if you have access difficulties.

Beverley Scott is the Owner and Founder of Skin&Spirit Hair & Beauty which, along with the Skin&Spirit Aesthetics, Skincare & Wellness Clinic, is part of the Skin&Spirit group, philosophy and brand.  Bev is a Registered Nurse Prescriber.  She holds ultimately professional accountability for the whole Skin&Spirit team.

Emma Robbins is the day to day General Manager for Skin&Spirit and Co-Founder.  Emma ensures the smooth day to day running of Skin&Spirit.

Laura Cartawick is one of our core Hair Stylists and the Skin&Spirit Hair & Beauty Team Leader.  Laura has an extensive 24 years' experience in hair cutting, colouring, barbering and extensions and has worked locally in the Clowne village in hairdressing since she was 14 years old!!  Laura is responsible for leading the hair team.

Georgia Dean is one of our core Hair Stylists and our resident blonde expert.  Georgia has over 5 years' experience in hair cutting and colouring locally in the Clowne Village and has a particular interest in creating vivid colours, colour corrections and blondes. She also specialises in hair extensions.

Amanda Dixon and Chelcea Fletcher are our front of house Receptionists and Social Media experts and are who you will most likely meet first when you come through our doors!

Sienna Fisher is our lovely new Hair Apprentice  and such a welcome addition to our team.

The beauty services previously provided at our former High Street site have now been merged with Skin&Spirit Aesthetics, Skincare & Wellness Clinic upstairs at Mill Street so the wonderful Diane Harper, our Level 3 Beauty Therapist with a holistic specialty is now part of the wider Skin&Spirit Aesthetics, Skincare and Wellness team
